Aircraft Bearings

Aircraft Bearings:

Airframe and Control aircraft bearings are manufactured to meet the stringent demands of aircraft control and aerospace applications. Manufactured in accordance with U.S. military specifications (MIL-SPEC) and made from stainless steel or other metals or materials, aircraft bearings are resistant to corrosion, shock, and temperature extremes. Aircraft bearings are available in numerous styles and sizes to meet required speeds and loads.

Aircraft bearings are used in a variety of applications.  Manufacturers often modify standard bearings for military or civilian applications that include special requirements. Aircraft bearings can be heat-treated or sealed against chemicals or extreme temperatures. Coatings and plating such as dry film, thick or thin dense chrome, zinc nickel, and silver are also available. Lubrication options are designed to support devices that operate at high and low temperature extremes. Bearing Service stocks several common aircraft bearings and has the ability to source hard to find product.
